Nutritional supplements, such as cinnamon, are being introduced to the health-conscious market as consumers are increasingly turning to dietary supplements for the same nutritional benefits they get from foods and beverages.
But the supplement industry is getting ready for a much bigger, more disruptive moment in the supplement landscape.
“We’re seeing a very exciting opportunity for supplement manufacturers and companies to compete with food and beverage companies,” said David L. Hylton, chief executive officer of Nutritional Products, Inc., a company that has been developing a number of supplement lines for consumers in the last few years.
“If we can deliver nutritional supplements at the same cost, with the same nutrition, that’s an incredible opportunity for companies that want to be competitive.”
Lifestyle supplement lines Nutritional products such as NutraStigma, NutraMax, and NutraFlex have been selling nutritional supplements for consumers for years.
NutraSTigma, which is marketed as a diet supplement that is more than 40% protein and 60% carbohydrates, is the first to make nutritional supplements that are packaged in a way that consumers can easily consume.
The products are packaged as capsules, with a pre-packaged tablet included.
The company is targeting the young, and has marketed the products in a variety of sizes to appeal to consumers who are younger than 30.
“They are not a traditional food product, but we’re marketing them as a dietary supplement,” said CEO Rob Riesen.
The product is sold in capsule form and contains a mix of vitamins and minerals.
It is available in a wide range of sizes, including capsules, capsules and tablets.
The NutraMAX brand, which was developed for people who are trying to lose weight, also sells in a capsule format, but has also launched a line of nutritional supplements called Nutra MAX that is a combination of protein, carbs, and fiber.
“The goal is to have something that is low in calories, but high in vitamins and other nutrients,” said co-founder and chief marketing officer Michael C. McNeil.
“NutraMAX has an extremely low calorie count, but it also has an exceptionally high nutrient density.”
For example, Nutras Max contains up to 3,000mg of vitamin C and as much as 12,000mcg of zinc.
The supplement also has about 10 grams of protein per capsule.
The companies also sell nutritional supplements in the form of bars, powder and liquid capsules.
“For a company like Nutra Max that wants to have products that are low in the calories, it makes sense to do the supplement business,” said McNeil, who is also a senior vice president at NutraPods, a company launched by Nutramax in 2014.
The new products are targeted at people who want to eat healthy, and are more than a “sport supplement,” McNeil said.
Nutraceuticals is also working on nutritional supplements designed for athletes.
For instance, Nutracetix is a supplement that provides a daily dose of protein and calcium.
In addition to the nutrition content of Nutra STigma and Nutras MAX, Nutrilix has a protein content of 1.8 grams per capsule and a fat content of 5.5 grams per tablet.
Nutrilax is available as a powder and a liquid capsule, which contain up to 15 grams of nutrients per capsule, McNeil explained.
“This is a product that has a really strong focus on nutrition,” McNeill said.
“In addition to our nutritional products, we also offer nutritional supplements to athletes, who want a supplement with a focus on health and performance.”
He added that Nutracins line of supplements for athletes has been in the works for about two years.
The first product, which McNeil described as a supplement for athletes who are athletes, has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
The FDA approved the product as a sports nutrition supplement.
The other products include the Nutralix and Nutrilactix line, which are designed for weight loss.
“I think that’s a really good example of what we want to do,” McNeal said.
The two Nutractix products are available in three different sizes, ranging from 3.5 ounces to 11 ounces, and the Nutraticix is available by the capsule and tablet sizes.
The Nutritionix line is available for the powder and by the liquid capsule sizes.
It has a range of nutrients that include protein, calcium, vitamins, and minerals, McNeill explained.
The “Nutrilactex line is also an amazing product, because it’s an all-natural supplement,” he added.
Nutralactex is a blend of proteins, carbohydrates, and vitamins.
Nutrals Max and Nutrolax have been in development for about a year, McLean said.
In a recent product announcement, Nutrolactex stated that the product will be available by capsule and powder sizes, and by a range in weight loss and weight control.
“Our goal is
