The Seattle Seahawks make more money than the entire NFL in the year they are playing than any other team, the league announced Monday.
The Seahawks are currently averaging $8.4 million per season.
That’s about $4 million more than the Cowboys, the most expensive team in the league, which has averaged $8 million.
The Seattle Seahawks are averaging $4.4m per season.
“It’s not just about money, it’s about quality and having a great culture, which I believe the team is making,” Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said.
“We have a great relationship with our players.
They are passionate about the game.
They love to compete and the organization is making sure they are having the right amount of fun with it.”
The Seahawks’ average annual income is nearly double the league average, which is $5.8 million, the NFL said.
They’re also the only NFL team that earns more than $8m per year.
The NFL announced the figures Monday, saying it will use the numbers to track how teams are performing and to make adjustments to the salary cap.
It will be released at a later date.
The league says the Seahawks have $8 billion in annual revenue, and they’re among the most valuable teams in the NFL.
They have a winning record since the 2012 season, when they won Super Bowl XLIX over the New England Patriots.
