In the latest in a string of health-related breakthroughs, the British company BioMed is making a major comeback with the introduction of its own herbal supplement called Bionova, which is designed to help people improve their health.
BioMed announced Monday that it will launch the product in the U.K. this year, and the first batches will be made available to consumers this spring.
BioMart, which sells Bionovas, also launched a line of nutritional supplements last year, including Bionavar and Bionos.
BioMax, a supplement manufacturer that BioMed acquired in 2015, also has products in the pipeline.
BioMAX founder Paul Humberto Bioneno said Bionovsky’s new product is a “game-changer” for the supplement industry.
The company is the first to make Bionano available in the United States, Humbera said.
Bio Max, which made its first Bionado in 2014, will begin selling the product later this year in the Netherlands, while BioMax’s products are expected to reach the U,K., U.S., Australia and New Zealand by the end of the year.
The products are intended to improve the health and wellness of people who consume a lot of dietary supplements, according to the company.
BioMass, another company that makes Bionanos, is expected to make its first batch available to U.N. employees in the near future, the company said.

BioRad Pharmaceuticals, maker of the anti-aging drug Vioxx, also made a big push with its own dietary supplement in 2014.
Bionozas can improve memory and cognition, according a company statement.
BIONOVAS are a new kind of supplement that have a lot to offer people, Humbarelli said.
The product is designed for people who have a lack of vitamin B6, which has been known to interfere with the production of Biono and its components.
“In the last three years, Bionotto has been on the market and we have been very pleased to see that it has been very popular and has had a huge impact on the health sector,” he said.
Humbero Bioneros, which launched its first product in 2014 and has since grown to about 20 million units, has had “many positive experiences” with its new product, Hombrelli said, adding that BioMax will soon start making Bionas available to its employees.
Hombra said BioMax is a small company with just two employees, and BioMax has had to spend significant time and resources to develop the product.
“There are no competitors out there,” Hombro said.
“But if it’s a new product and we can help people get it, then that is what we will do.”
The company also is in talks with some of the biggest players in the dietary supplement market, including Merck, Johnson & Johnson and Amgen.
